GO RACING 

Queensland Vintage Motocross Club is a social Motocross Club is a social which offers members the opportunity to participate in both ride days and race days throughout the year. We cater for bikes in various classes from pre 75 to period 20 and sidecars. When it comes to racing the club is about fun and socialising with others that share  the passion for older, not about how fast you ride or how many races you win. WHO CAN JOIN QVMX?

Anyone is welcome to join QVMX. As with most clubs, membership is subject to approval by the committee and you must be a Senior Race License holder to ride. Event licenses can be purchased on the day of Club Events. For more information about licenses go to the Motorcycling Australia website. Junior riders can be members but only as part of a Family membership. Membership is for 12 months from the date you join and is only available on Ridernet, through your Ridernet profile.  You must have a ridernet profile to join the club and enter for events Ride Days or Race days. WHAT AGE CAN GROUPS RIDE?

All age groups are welcomed. This year the club will trial a Junior class (12-16yrs). Juniors will be allowed to race modern 85cc bike or 80-125cc VMX bike. Junior riders younger than 12 years can ride their bikes at most practice days. Information will be published to the Club Calendar prior to an even being run.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RIDE QVMX?

  • ·    $60 Senior Membership (yearly)

  • ·    $100 Family Membership (yearly)

  • ·    $10 Associate Member (yearly)

  • RPA (Ride Day) Costs:

  • ·    An MA Licence is not required, However MA  Licences holders will have some insurance coverage  An MA One Event Rec Licence is available on Ridernet  - $30 

  • ·    Seniors 16 years and older  - $60.00

  • ·    Juniors $30.00

  • Club Race Days Costs:

  • ·    Senior $60.00 + $5.00 per class  

  • ·    Junior $30.00 + $5.00 per class 

  • ·    $75 Motorcycling Australia (MA) One Event License (non current -MA license holders)

  • ·    CAMPING IS GENERALLY FREE FOR MOST CLUB EVENTS

WHAT RACING CLASSES DOES QVMX SUPPORT ?​

  • ·    Pre 75 / Pre 78 / EVO Run together (enter in Evolution Class)

  • ·     Pre 85 / Pre 90 / Pre 97 & Period 20 (2002 model and older)

  • ·    Most classes run in capacity 125, 250, 263 or Pre 97 & Period 20 Unlimited 

  • ·    UP TO Period 20 Women’s Unlimited* Class - Women can also ride a modern bike but will not be scored in the Championship 

  • ·    Junior ( age 9-11) , 80cc-85cc 2 stroke, 80cc 4 stroke up to 150cc 4 stroke)  SM only,  vintage or Modern  all scored  

  • ·    Junior ( age 12-15) , 80cc-85cc 2 stroke, 80cc 4 stroke up to 150cc 4 stroke) SM or BW,  vintage or Modern  all scored

  • ·    Junior ( age 13 - 15 ), 125cc 2 stroke or 250 four stroke & Junior (12 to 15) 85 to 100cc BW scored with 125/250.

  • ·    Up to Pre 95 Unlimited* 4 Stroke 

  • ·    Up to Pre 95 Unlimited* Trail bike/Enduro
