Queensland Vintage Motocross Club is a social motocross club which offers participants the opportunity to participate in both practice days and race days throughout the year. We cater for bikes and sidecars in various classes from pre60 to pre95.
Our club and VMX has grown stronger each year and last year we had over 200+ members. The focus is on fun, socialising, the restoring, riding and racing of vintage motocross bikes.
Our first race meetings were very casual on properties around Brisbane, set up with as little as a few witches hats and bungee cords. These days are club pre-sets tracks to Motorcycling Queensland guidelines. Our club has worked hard to grow and meet the needs of members.
We now offer various ride meetings to members at Biddadaba (Tabragalba, near Beaudesert), Coles Creek (between Pomona and Gympie), QLD Moto Park, and other Motocross tracks in South East Queensland. We are also proud to run the iconic QVMX Conondale Classic in August each year. The Conondale Classic weekend event attracts over 100+ local and international riders.
Whilst the average age of our riders is around 40, we welcome riders from the age of 16 and up for our senior classes. We have a few older members who enjoy both the riding, and the social side of our club. We also have quite a few ladies who are keen riders and active members of our club.
QVMX welcomes everyone who is keen on vintage motocross, and motocross in general, to come along and visit one of our events.
New members are always welcomed.
